Bought the 6.5" speakers for my ’98 Dakota CC that had the Infinity sound system. These sound alright for the price, I got them for $5.99 at Fry’s on sale. I left the front tweeters hooked up and tweaked the equalizer on the stereo to make up for these deficiencies these have.
Used the stock plastic adapters for the fronts with #8 5/8 sheet metal screws and a 1/8" pilot hole, there is enough grab there to hold onto them tightly. For the rears you’ll need an adapter, these won’t work with the SAK011 adapters however as the mounting hole in those is 5.5" and these speakers need close to a 5.75" hole.
