These have raised the sound stage in my 2000 Silverado about a foot. You can spend $1000’s on speakers but if it’s staged at your stomach it sounds bad. I prefer to spend $100 on speakers (all 6) and stage them at my ears. Makes more sense to me. Tried aiming these from the front pillars toward the glass like stock tweets, rear facing from pillars and up behind rear view mirror but finally placed them on the dash in the far corners for the best staging. They run parallel with front speakers and only added 0.3 ohms so can use them on deck power with no amp. Then I saved on door speakers without buying components. These are crossed over a little high for me but work good for the money. Might even add a second pair if I buy an amp later.
