Does exactly what you want. No bells and whistles, just a clean, inexpensive way for me to listen to music, mp3s and iPod/iPhone. I have used the USB port for MP3s and the aux input to play music and podcasts off of my phone. I will say that the remote control is handy when it comes to pausing music on the USB drive as there is no other way to pause that. All in all- 100% worth the price.
