The Sound Storm Laboratories DD661B Bluetooth, Double-Din, 6.2" Touch Screen Monitor, DVD/CD/USB/MP3 Receiver is a nice DIN player. This is my first such device so I don’t have much reference other than built in DVD and in dash systems.

So, I have had a head rest installed dvd system for my 2006 Scion Xb, I’ve experienced the built in system of my wife’s 2016 Nissan Murano SL, I’ve enjoyed the built in DVD system of my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, and have experienced the current packaged in dash and after market dvd system of my 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. The Sound Storm Laboratories DD661B Receiver I would say is on par with the in dash system of the 2012 Chrysler T/C which is similar to my wife’s Nissan Murano SL in dash. Again, I’m no expert in this regards in any fashion.

I just know the Sound Storm Laboratories DD661B Receiver was quite easy to install and test. As an aftermarket item, the Sound Storm Laboratories DD661B Receiver is quite complete. It functions as the standard DVD player, your Bluetooth device, handles your usb and sd card media, and of course your usual radio station functions. The only features it is missing is 3rd party satellite, and that is completely subjective in functionality. I have it and barely use it on other platforms. Its touchscreen lcd handles a very respectable 800*480, which is more than adequate for full DVD spec.

The Sound Storm Laboratories DD661B Receiver also offers AUX and back view camera support. Althought it comes with a 3 year platinum online dealer warranty, I’m sure most of us won’t qualify but the price is practically perfect.
