I would recommend a class D power amp. This is ok for an amp, and as many reviews have noted, it is NOT 1600 watts.
Class D amps will give you WAY less battery draw, cleaner sound, and give off less heat as waste. They will also fit better, this thing is huge. It’s heavy, and LOOKS like it could put out 1600 watts. But my old PPI 1200 watt amp kicks this things butt.
It was only $100, so no biggie, but keep looking around for a better deal.
