This receiver provides a good entry level solution with bluetooth connectivity. It Allows for utilization of the existing steering wheel controls with a module. The backup camera looks like an entry level add on but suffices to provide a solution where one doesn’t exist already. The connectivity options provided include USBiPodSD Card support and the device includes a remote control and full touchscreen input. The touchscreen is single point only and does not support multitouch. This probably doesn’t mean a lot to you unless your a tech but in layman terms it’s not quite as good and responsive.
With my toyota Prius I got a professional installation performed on this unit. I know a lot of other reviewers installed this without much trouble but ,after I got it, I realized these were likely in slightly older vehicles than my own and that with the amount of tech already factory installed in my dash that my safety and my cars safety would be better served getting it installed. It was just a touch beyond my abilities.
