Great sub for the money. The build of this powered sub feels like quality. Instructions were kinda worthless. If you’ve not installed amps or done much car wiring, this may be quite a job. If you have experience with wiring cars for audio, this sub is a breeze. It was just big enough for my extended cab Z71. I think a 10" would have been necessary for an SUV or anything with a bigger passenger cabin. The sound produced by this unit is not window rattling. It is clean and rich, though, for a slim powered unit. It supplements the mid-range door speakers very well to produce a crisp rich sound. This sub is highly adjustable and includes a handy sub volume control to mount where ever you want. I would recommend this sub for any mid-size car or ext. cab truck. Anything bigger, id suggest the LoPro 10.
