Purchased this speaker to replace the factory sub-woofer in a 2001 Chevy Suburban. The speaker was basically a direct fit with very little modification. The over all quality is good for a $25.00 dollar speaker and performed better than the factory. If you are really into car audio I would imagine that this is not the speaker for you. However, if you are like me and are just looking for a inexpensive replacement with decent sound, these should work fine.
