A lot of Mechless receivers are still built in the 7 inch chassis used for CD equipped units, but if your installation location doesn’t have that kind of depth, this unit is very good as the depth is about 4 inches. It isn’t as powerful as other units and the operational controls are small and not clearly marked, but that is a problem typical of this type of unit. I had a small problem and Sound Storm Laboratories tech support was barely adequate. However they did send a new wire harness as part of the solution. With a bit more power and an easier way to sift through songs on the card, thumb drive or PMD, and it would be great! Good value for the money as it is.
