When i first saw this on here i was skeptical about the 2000 peak watts but i think it proved itself. I handmade a box for it to the right specs and it has by far, a lot more bass then the Kicker Comps we have. Since ive had it i just used it on a large older yamaha home reciever and it powers it fine, ive had the subwoofer maxed out many times and im very amazed i havent blown it yet because im pretty positive it had it at its limit many times and i know its not being under-powered because the distance the subwoofer is still traveling, this speaker makes me want to not get any other brands besides SSL
