I’m using a temporary work truck, and I needed beats in it. I had an amp, wiring and just needed some cheap, low profile subwoofers. I found these on close out for $19.99, so I figured "why not?". I’m so glad I chose these subs! I’ve had Fosgates, Alpines, Sonys, MA Audio and currently, Sundowns in my Acura. I expected a huge drop off in the SSL’s, but it never came. Along with my Alpine MRX-M55, they POUND! I’ve got them mounted parallel in a R/T truck box and they push air like a sub five times their cost. Too bad they went back up in price, because at $20 per speaker, I’d build a wall of the budget bombs.
