I have this amp in a 96 Explorer, and I replaced the factory JBL Sub with a 2 Ohm Kicker 6 1/2″ Sub, and let me tell you, this amp does the job!! It makes the Kicker sub perform like a 10!! The bass is so deep, and it hits as hard as I want it to! I have it hooked up to one of the channels (Since I can’t bridge this amp at 2 ohms and it’s a 2 ohm sub) and it hits very hard for its size. Whether you have a pair of speakers, or a single subwoofer, this amp will really let out some power!! Highly recommended!By the way, my gain is set a little less than halfway up, and the sub still hits very nicely.
