Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.
Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?
The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").
The phase control feature allows you to adjust the speakers phase to ensure all audio signals are playing together rather than against each other. When bass notes are noticeably absent, a quick and easy adjustment to the phase control could provide the perfect remedy.
Subwoofer Level Control
The ability to boost or attenuate the sub level when an amp and subwoofer are connected to the subwoofer pre-amp output.
Variable Bass Boost
Variable Bass Boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost range to just the way you like it.
Variable High Pass Filter
Variable high-pass filter gives you control over the frequencies that pass through to the full range speakers.
Variable Low Pass Filter
Variable low-pass filter gives you control over the frequencies that pass through to the subwoofer.
I'm only using the bass part of these crossover and it makes a huge difference. It really pushes the bass out nice clean and clear. It's like night and day. I will eventually hook up some speakers for the highs and mids through this and I'm sure it will sound all that much better.

Noisy
I had a lot of noise issues with this unit. Very bad design on hot/ ground /turn on wire set up. That being said it works ok but I think middle cossover should be a bandpass instead of high or low pass.

Recently purchased; It has a very cheap feel to it, but it does everything it's supposed to do. For the price, you can't beat it. The bass knob is a plus as well.

Amazing price and it works great!
This thing is so simple and effective. Replaced my miniDSP ($110) that I could not fix the ground noise with.

Do Not Hesitate To Buy This Product--I Highly Recommend It.
Clean sounding crossover. No problems so far. Works perfect on my car stereo home sound system. This device professionally separates all three input signals into three separate output signal with excellent sound quality.

At $33.99 with free shipping, I would give this a thumbs up. It delivered as promised and fit the bill as a bargain crossover. If you are looking for high-end, competition sound, this is not for you.

It works ok, but you get what you pay for........
This unit arrived with 2 of the knobs pushed in flush with the casing, but I was able to remove cover and raise them back up. The biggest quality issue I've found is that the POTS used are not linear, which really can make adjustment a little difficult. As an example of this, you may turn the adjuster through 20% of its adjustment range, but have already hit 95%, and the remaining 5% of adjustment left is spread over the remaining travel of the POT switch. I can see where this would leave many to get the impression that the device doesn't cover the entire range it should, but it does seem to hit the full range, just NOT with any linear progression. I get 85% of available gain in the first 20% of adjuster knob travel, with almost no additional gain after that first 20%.
So does it work? Yes Can it adjust the frequency ranges it advertises? Yes, but not with precision. Is it "clean" as far as signal mod is related? yes, hasn't added any measurable distortion to my system. Internal grounding ok? No signal or ground loops detected, but that may depend on vehicle electronics as much as the unit.
Works good as a line driver, basic signal amp, and as a basic cross-over. If you need/want precise control over your cross-over points, this is not the unit for you. If you're looking for something to boost signal strength on your RCA's, this works fine.

Great processor at a steal of a price!
I am about halfway through my electronic engineering degree with 8 years of amateur experience in circuit design, build, modification and repair.
Internally, this is a decent quality unit. It is loaded with 4558's which is the most popular dual op amp. While NE5532's are much better, it's not a major factor due to the overall circuit architecture being so extravagant.
First, the sub crossover. Lots of boost, fair amount of options and a lot of output. It's far better than majority of your amp's onboard crossovers. Variable cutoff point with variable selectable bass boost and variable boost level as well. Lots of headroom, lots of performance.
Rear channel crossover offers 6-12 dB slope. 400 Hz and below cutoff point which is ideal. Lots of output and it's designed with the rear speakers typically having more enclosure volume that front speakers. Again, good headroom, lots of output and more than you find on most amp's built in high pass crossover.
Front channel takes it a step further. There is a multiplier so you can cut off at 250 Hz or 2500 Hz. Again, 6-12 dB selectable slope. Good headroom and plenty of output.
Structurally it's your typical sheet steel. Decent quality, nice silk screening for the control panel. Unplugging power, ground and remote terminal block to make installation or servicing less troubling.
Overall for the price, I doubt you will find equal or better. Even at double the price, many designs will be about the same as this but a better quality PCB and more expensive passives. Actives will always be standard grade fets and your the craptastically popular 4558 or TLC07's which really need to be cast aside and the 5532 standardized.

Great item at a very good price
This crossover I honestly thought was going to be crap but It works very good. When you want to add more bass to your subs at low price I would recommend this to everybody.I have had alot of different crossovers and I dont think any of them sound as good as this one and I payed more for them. Not to mention It has the bass remote control that comes with it, great for turning subs down when you need to and listen without all of the bass

Great Product Great Buy
this thing is great. i have a small set-up (200watt rms pioneer amp and a 200w rms pioneer 12") but this thing brings out the best in it, hitting only the notes that the sub should be hitting. great product. great buy.

Bottom line: Incredible Value. Great control, good S:N, adequate construction
Overall, I don't think you can get a better electronic crossover for less than twice what amazon charges for this. I am only using it to tune by auto subwoofers since my amps don't allow for enough control. I can't say if this is clean enough for the high-level channels of a hi-fi system, but it handles bass cleanly. I wanted variable frequency and amplitude low frequency boost combined with an adjustable 12db crossover. Add in stereo/mono switching, multiple source control, plus phase selection and you have an ideal recipe for tuning your subs. I disassembled the unit and am quite pleased with the circuit board quality. The unit's power draw is less than 2 amps, so I can run it off my remote power amp relay and don't need to run a separate power wire. However, there is much room for improvement in the build quality of the case and switches. I would like to see the next model feature a more rugged body, flush mounted dials (so they can't get broken by stuff in the trunk), and perhaps some flexible mounting options. Oh, and I wish this thing was about 1/3 smaller.
Pros: -Clean power -Great features -Decent build quality for the $$$ -Soft power control -Very inexpensive Cons: -It's pretty big -Dials are not flush mounted (unprotected) -Kinda flimsy shell -Flashing chrome logo on shell

SSL Crossover
This has been a great addition for fine tuning my entire 3 amp system. The best part was to add much needed pre-amp line voltage; If nothing else, get it as a line driver. If your head unit only puts out 2-5 volts, this will greatly improve the efficiency of your amps and eliminate most of the low volume "whine" from the car's electrical system.

I use this indoors powered byhttps://amazon.com/dp/B00DKSI0S8/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5which has a max current of 3amps, same as the fuse requirements in the install guide. This device accepts bare wire which I connected to the metal tip of the DC transformer. I strung bare wire between Remote on and +12v so it's always on. Remote on is meant for 12v when powered on and 0 when off so it doesn't drain car battery.
