Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.
Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?
The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").
A Dual voice coil subwoofer provides more wiring configuration possibilities. If you add additional subwoofers, wiring configurations can be easily matched to optimize the amps power output. Power handling is also increased. Dual voice coil subwoofers are ideal for medium to high-power applications.
Sealed Enclosure
This subwoofer will operate well in a sealed enclosure that will yield solid, tight bass. You can either purchase a pre-fabricated enclosure or build one to suit your installation needs. Sealed enclosures are relatively easy to build and are the smallest enclosure the subwoofer is designed for.
These subs bump great in a bandpass box facing each other in a slant.i have a performance teknique mp 800 watts peak.so mysetup was parallel each side to 2 ohms to this 2 ch amp and it shaked the expedition 01 pretty good but i had to wire one side oppiste cuz the were canceling each other out after that boom.but today somerhing went wrong it wasnt loud and sounded like crap and had this weird smell went to back to check out and smpke was coming from one port and amp was in protect mode.i had these 20 dollar speakers new from frys bumping here and there with no problems but one side of the channel had no screws to hold wire down so i taped em and when i went and looked at em they were hanging out so something must have toched and burnt out speaker but i hooked back up more secure and it was still bumping.so idk what really happened my wife drove that day so i think she drove fast and made amp and box slide but ill check out some more but for 20 bucks they bumped loud on 200 watts 2 ohms parallel ea side.so worth it ill update and see if the burnt smell was my fault but for a month no problems.i wass gonna get the 80 dollar boss 2500 watt amp to push these.also the bandpass box with these fit perfect behind 3rd row on the 01 expo and everyone like wheres the bass coming from its loud. Update 7/23/14 as good as they were after 3 weeks of bumping the cones froze and smoke came out of speakers i have been using performance teqniques 800 watts so for ea speaker 2 ohms 200 watts and it couldnt handle the stress. So now paperweights.should have got the 3 dollar ins but 40 buks aint a big loss my pyle 1000 watt blue wave worked better should have jut got another one instead of these 2 garbage so it will not last long on 200 watts parallel 2 ch.but they did sound good in a bandpass box so go with 125 rms 2 ohms should be safe

Well priced product.
For the price I paid $29 including shipping, nothing comes close. These speakers handle a lot of power, atleast 400 RMS. If price is the criteria, then buy these speakers, which do the job and are very light.

Very well priced budget speakers
I got two of these in my current car audio setup, but unfortunately I reached my budget cap before I could get the second one so I had to buy used. The one new speaker sounds great, clean sound, not muddy at all, in a sealed box with perfect dimensions and that one puts out some nice sound. The used one is a bit of an issue as it has a sand type sound coming out the back. Overall they are nice speakers, a bit on the low end for their class, but that doesn't affect my setup too much since my 12's tend to overpower these in raw bass sound. I got these to help clear the muddy sound of the system overall and they do it flawlessly. Have both of these wired up to a Planet Audio AC1500.1M mono block and they seem to match up nicely, although I may get another amp since these may be a bit under-powered on that one mono block.

This one defies price/sound
I really am surprised with the room shaking power I get from this sub. I have a class-d mono block hooked up to this setup. I originally had a Eminence sub in this box so it needed more area than I would imagine this sub usually gets .. but I am so impressed. I really wasnt expecting much since I just wanted something cheap to fill in this box and use it in my bedroom. I now get self conscious watching movies since my house shakes and I now have to worry if I am pissing off my neighbors.. all from a 10"? yes, in this case. So, yes I am happy.

these are good for a ported box
Very cheaply made, no way it will handle anywhere near 1200watts. these are good for a ported box, with a low pass filter on a 2-300 watt amp. anymore and you will melt the voice coil instantly.

alright subs
Nothing to write home about. The "magnet" on the back is just a huge plastic cover, very deceiving!

Luv em!
These really don't need too much base just a tad they thump that hard, I keep my bass on zero and still have wrestle mania in my trunk the way they thump..
