Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.
Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?
The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").

This EQ to set with your highs it isn't all that great but for your bass it does have the preamp for your sub amp hook up and adds a little extra power to your bass amp. It is a good Eq. I but it for all my cars till I can locate a baby Kenwood eq which is my favorite eq. But even for a permanent eq, it sounds great and last long. Thank you

Took 2 trys
It is an OK passive EQ. After the 2nd unit was delivered it worked just fine. It works as well as expected for the price.

7 band equalizer
this 7 band graphic equalizer is pretty good it adds some extra oomph to your sound if you set it right looks kewl in the nighttime also. I would recommend some 3M body tape to stick it up instead of drilling holes all over your vehicle though. use it in place of a line out converter and you will not be disappointed because it has 6 channels to connect 3 separate subs.

Great product for a GREAT price
This equalizer has made a dramatic improvement in the sound of the aftermarket receiver and amplifiers that I installed. It made connecting the receiver to the amplifiers and subwoofer a piece of cake. Unlike some other reviewers, I have not had any issues with it. I only have a couple of gripes, the fader control has a green light surrounding it that is WAY too bright and the graphic level display LEDs are also WAY too bright. I took care of both of these gripes with a few pieces of electrical tape.

Not bad for the price.
I haven't had any issues with the S7EQ that I purchased and installed myself. I have only been using it to control my subwoofer so far though. I am going to install my second EV2.1000 amplifier tonight to power my Boss Audio OHC62CS component system that I just received and will use the pre-amp outputs for the front sound stage. I haven't heard any extra noise from my subwoofer thus far.Cons:Does not use a harness to connect the wiresDoes not allow separate left and right controlHas a wire to connect to "Source Ground" as well as a regular ground wire for some reason (Source ground is actually the same thing as a regular ground)Has a control for 3k Hz instead of one for 2.5k HzNo option to disable, change, or reduce illumination"Graphic" part of the equalizer isn't accurate at allI am looking for a second EQ so that I can split up the left and right side of the car. In hindsight, it would have been easier and cheaper to just buy a 50 dollar Kicker or Clarion model. In fact, I may just do that.

Top line EQ!(Bass Boost and Freq Contol)
Adds amazing bass boost potential. Very easy install. Using it just for sub gain so I knock it to 4 star as Im purchasing a 2nd for my 6x8's as it wont let you run high input and low input simultaneously.

Sounds OK.
Average sound quality. Subwoofer Bass gets choked if volume is too high. Annoying.
