Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including electronic equipment, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as buildings, hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, and stores.
Why do you see the warning on our packaging and website?
The warning is part of our ongoing effort to comply with the California Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (known as "Proposition 65").
Class A/B amplifiers have long been known for their ability to produce great quality sound while performing more efficiently than pure Class A amplifiers. We have developed a specific linear circuitry that further reduces distortion while increasing both sound quality and power output.

other than that the system sounds good when riding
the only problem that i see wrong is . the package does not come with mirror mount brackets because I had to retro fit my older brackets to use these speakers to work on my Yamaha, that's why i give it 3 stars . other than that the system sounds good when riding ..

SSL Motorcycle / UTV system NEW use for Tailgating
Love the product.
Installation I left to an expert ("Bestbuy Geek Squad")- mainly because of my novel use and added complication factor.
I use my F150 supercrew for tailgating at football or my deer lease around campfire.
Have another manufacturer's (1)tonneau plus (2)clever swing out cases both sides of bed (both "Undercover" product) - also with bed rug for sound / vibration moderation. I have the speakers mounted facing rearward at back of truck protected by the swing out cases.
The system is powered from inside cab from SSL control module. This allows control either manually or remotely with cool remote key pad. Thus set up I have full use of truck standard system be it AM/FM; CD; Ipod etc......Can run independent of truck internal speakers.

I really wanted to use this, but...
Okay, so I ordered this for my 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R thinking that a 3 inch speaker wasn't really that big. Damn, was I wrong. Well, when I finally found a perfect spot for it I decided to test it first to see if I was going to like where I was going to install it. Nothing. The amp came on but no sound came out of the speakers. But even more than that the length of wires provided were not long enough to reach from the front of the bike to the back of the bike (where i was going to install the amp). I called the company and asked if they would be able to provide an extension cable between the amp and the speakers and they could not. Not a big deal, but I was disappointed to hear I would have to cut the speaker wires in order to extend them to the length I needed. Seems like an optional accessory you should be able to purchase. Now, onto the item itself. I loved they way it looked. It was packed well and seemed very well built. I hated to return it but I was unable to use a device that was not working, right? I am sure I would have found a way to use it if it was in working condition. And the remote control was especially cool. All-in-all, I would definitely buy this again for a bike like a cruiser or road bike. But this is certainly not for sport bikes.
