I’ve had an ssl ev4000 before and it was a great amp. It was pushing 2 l7 12 and it was banging. I mean I could be heard from at least two blocks away. Now I have decided to downgrade to this 2500 and it works great. It will get hot but it all depends on how long you run it and how big your trunk is. But as for me I’m in a 06 Malibu ltz so it’s pretty damn loud.
