I’ve never purchased a capacitor before, so I decided to go the inexpensive route. This thing is pretty big and sturdy, and it comes with easy instructions to follow. I have it hooked up to a 1200w amp powering two 12″ Kenwood KFC subwoofers in a bandpass/downfiring box. It shows a reading (on average) of 14.1 volts and drops down to the low 13’s when big bass notes hit. It has helped with the dimming of my headlights, but far from eliminated the problem. My next project is to upgrade the “Big 3” with 4 gauge cable. Overall, it seems to be working well so far and my subs are hitting much harder now.
